What Sets LoneStart Wellness Apart?

Proven, Proactive, Positive ...
A Nuts and Bolts Approach

Many traditional “diet and exercise” programs often confuse outcomes with processes. The LoneStart Wellness initiative focuses on the modest but meaningful improvements in behavior (processes) that will inevitably result in long term health and wellness (outcomes). By carefully managing expectations and creating a wellness opportunity that is positive and non-judgmental, we create an environment within your organization that promotes well-being so healthier behaviors can be learned, adopted and sustained.

The LoneStart Wellness Initiative:

Is not just another diet and exercise program. It is a behavioral approach to long-term wellness, designed to result in sustainable attitude and behavior change regarding the two primary causes of obesity—poor dietary practices and physical inactivity.
Focuses on first steps first. It takes the overwhelming and complex problems of overweight, obesity and physical inactivity and breaks them into specific manageable and achievable tasks.
Creates Achievers and Believers. By achieving immediate small but important successes, participants prove to themselves that they have the ability to take back control of their personal health and wellness.
Honestly confronts the need for personal responsibility and active participation.
Provides a realistic strategy to overcome the established cues of our fast food, sedentary society through moment-by-moment, step-by-step, choices.
Provides a practical plan to set and achieve realistic wellness goals.
Creates the foundation for long-term success, through lifestyle changes that changes lives.
Is equally effective as a stand-alone program or as a jumpstart for existing / underperforming wellness strategies.
Is available to all groups and organizations—corporate, community, healthcare providers, schools and civic organizations.

To achieve sustainable behavior change, LoneStart Wellness created the 63-Day Team Esteem Challenge.
