and Believe strategy of the LoneStart Initiative and instructs participants

LoneStart Challenge Workbook |
| |
This comprehensive, easy-to-follow user’s
guide contains the following key components of the initiative:
Confidential Questionnaire
Designed to help participants establish realistic expectations and
create an effective strategy for this 21-day challenge. The questionnaire
is personal and confidential, and it is up to each participant
to decide whether they want to share any of its contents with a
spouse, friend, partner or mentor.
21-Day Journal
This combination planner and diary lets participants
plan and track their progress during their 21-day challenge. It helps
them focus on their moment-to-moment choices, identify their personal
motivators and keep track of their daily successes
The LoneStart Attitude
This component explores the relationship
between attitude and behavior and outlines a common-sense strategy
that gives participants an opportunity to achieve initial success
and believe in their ability to build on that success.
The LoneStart Choice
We’ve achieved the really neat trick
in this country of being both overfed and undernourished! This component
provides clear, honest information and provides a positive strategy
to improve the quality and control the quantity of our dietary choices.
It includes a sampling of nutritious, inexpensive, easy to prepare
recipes as alternatives to fast food lunches, unhealthy snacking
and pre-packaged, processed meals.
The LoneStart Move to Improve
As a society we have become “Still
and Ill”. This component
not only explains why we need to be “On the Move to Improve” but
shows participants how they can increase their level of activity
no matter who they are, where they are or what they’re doing.
